Risk Management consultancy Assent is thrilled to announce we have won the 2020 Newsquest Countywide Business Award in the category of Small Business of the Year!
The whole Assent team is thrilled to be recognised alongside many other wonderful businesses in the final; and to win the category has been a fitting reward for all our hard work and customer focus during a difficult year.
Of course the format of the ceremony was slightly different this year. With no opportunity to come together to celebrate, the announcements were made online via Facebook live and the Assent Team tuned in live to watch as the winners were announced.

This award rounds-off a year where, despite the disruption caused by COVID-19, there were many exciting activities at Assent including:
- Maintaining our Cyber Essentials & Living Wage Accreditations,
- Overhauling of our Information Services,
- Launching our Open Data Project,
- Moving to Campus,
- Starting our collaboration with the ATC to provide specialist language industry ISO Certification.
Looking ahead to 2021 the company has many plans to further support clients with British and International Standards through new products, services and collaborations.
